Welcome Message from the Program Director
Welcome to the Department of Anesthesiology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a proud part of one of the nation’s leading healthcare networks, Hackensack Meridian Health. Thank you for your interest in our Anesthesiology Residency Program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where we perform over 35,000 anesthetics each year, including over 4,000 obstetric deliveries. All of the anesthetics are either personally administered or medically directed by our 40 board-certified or board-eligible staff anesthesiologists, many of who have completed subspecialty fellowship training in all areas of our specialty. Our Department and Program are deeply committed to your comprehensive education as a physician, with a strong emphasis on patient care and safety. We will prepare you to exceed the expectations as set forth by the American Board of Anesthesiology and establish you as a leader in Anesthesiology and healthcare. We are delighted and honored that you are considering continuing your education and training with us!
Please take the time to explore our website, review our program, and visit again for new updates. We hope you find all of the information you need and invite you to contact the department by email at JSUMCAnesthesiologyResidency@hmhn.org.
