About This Location

HMH - Pediatric Genetics - Hackensack in Hackensack, NJ provides genetic care for children of all ages. Our team includes board certified medical geneticists and genetic counselors who help in the areas of preconception/prenatal, cancer, pediatric and adult genetics. We focus on giving patients clear information so they can better understand their options and make informed decisions.

We are part of Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest health network, which gives our patients coordinated access to specialists and services across the system.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Your initial visit includes a review of your medical history along with your generational family history.

Then, clinical impressions and laboratory testing recommendations will be discussed. Such as:

  • Blood Tests
  • Imaging Studies (X-rays, CT Scans, MRI or EKG's)
  • Urine Tests

Afterwards, referrals may be made to other specialists

Finally, follow-up appointments are scheduled to review the results of the testing as needed. If a diagnosis is made, medical management recommendations are made.
