Why Choose Us?

Our hospital is a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center certified by the Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDOHSS)
JFK University Medical Center is the newest Hackensack Meridian Neuroscience Institute location to offer high intensity focused ultrasound for the treatment of essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease tremor. Hackensack Meridian Health is currently the only health care network in New Jersey offering this minimally invasive treatment.
JFK University Medical Center was the first medical facility in New Jersey to offer Gamma Knife radiosurgery, which uses precisely focused radiation beams to provide noninvasive treatment of benign and cancerous brain tumors, vascular malformations as well as trigeminal neuralgia.
JFK University Medical Center uses virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technology for surgical planning, giving patients a realistic, three-dimensional view of what their surgery will entail. VR is also changing the way surgeries are practiced and performed, even reducing the amount of time spent in the operating room.
