The Memorial Sloan Kettering – Hackensack Meridian Health Partnership will host their third community talk in their Cancer Science Today series on Tuesday, May 22 at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Township. Dr. Elizabeth Jewell, Director of Surgery at MSK Monmouth, and Dr. Verda J. Hicks, Chief of Gynecologic Oncology, Jersey Shore University Medical Center will discuss how the genes our parents pass on to us may contribute to our risk of developing certain types of cancer and how you can know if your family is at risk. The question and answer session will be moderated by Steve Adubato, PhD, of PBS and NJTV.
