Golf Classic Raises Funds, Awareness for Mental Health

The 2018 Carrier Clinic Golf Classic, held on June 18 at Cherry Valley Country Club, was responsible for raising more than $30,000 that will go toward the support of much-needed mental health and addiction therapies.
“We could not have achieved this kind of success without the generous support of our many community partners,” said Michael Loch, director of fund development for Carrier Clinic. “Those outside organizations, along with our extremely dedicated Carrier staff, are the lifeblood of this annual event.”
Major sponsors included Fulton Bank, Sodexo, Bank of America, Drinker Biddle, High Grade Beverage, and McCarter & English.
Loch continued: “Carrier Clinic’s next big event is our ‘Walk of Hope and Awareness Day’ on September 15 at Carrier Clinic’s main campus, 252 Route 601, Belle Mead, N.J. Registration is at 9 AM, and the 1-mile walk begins at 10 AM.”
The public is encouraged to come out and walk for this good cause. Numerous families, friends, and Carrier Clinic employees will be on hand to donate their time and give generously to Carrier’s mission of treating mental illness and addiction.
