JerseyShoreOnline: Area Hospitals Join In ‘Little Hats, Big Hearts’

For American Heart Month, area hospitals are gifting babies born in February with red hats to raise awareness about heart disease. The hand knitted hats are part of the Little Hats, Big Hearts program. Babies at Jersey Shore University Medical Center dressed up in their red hats for a photo to mark the start of Heart Month. Participating hospitals include Community Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center, Hackensack Meridian Health Southern Ocean Medical Center, and RWJ Barnabas Health Monmouth Medical Center. (Also featured in CentralJersey.com(2/12) Little Red Hats warm hearts at NJ hospitals.)
