Sameer Sethi Named to 2023 NJBIZ Leaders In Digital Technology List

Sameer Sethi, senior vice president and chief data and analytics officer at Hackensack Meridian Health, was named to “2023 NJBIZ Leaders In Digital Technology,” an annual list that celebrates individuals and companies who are making a difference in the digital space.
“Sameer’s world-class leadership has enabled us to expand our focus on AI and Predictive Health while furthering the network’s strategic relationships with Google. He works closely with our providers and our Center for Discovery and Innovation to use digitized medical data to improve patient care, influence clinical workflow and provider network operations,” said Kash Patel, Chief Digital and Information Officer.

Mr. Sethi is a seasoned leader and expert in healthcare data and analytics with a proven track record of enabling use of data and analytical techniques to drive distinctiveness and deliver transformative impact. He has focused his career on data, technology and innovation for healthcare providers.
Starting his health care career in EMR implementations motivated Mr. Sethi to find ways to use digitized medical data to improve patient care, influence clinical workflow and provider network operations. He has since operated at the cross-section of healthcare and technology to improve quality, access and cost-of-care delivery. Mr. Sethi previously worked at Mount Sinai Health System, Mckinsey and Bon Secours Mercy Health as the chief data officer, and now serves as chief data and analytics officer at Hackensack Meridian Health. His experiences in data and analytics roles across consulting and health systems gives him diverse perspectives on the challenges facing providers in data and insights enablement and technology adoption.
Mr. Sethi and his team are currently focused on accelerating the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to deliver high quality, affordable, more accessible, and more efficient healthcare. Recently, Mr. Sethi was named by Becker’s Hospital Review among leading hospital and health system chief data and analytics officers making an impact.
