Hackensack Meridian Health Names Opeyemi Oluwole as Chief Marketing Officer

Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network, today announced the appointment of Opeyemi Oluwole as the network’s chief marketing officer.

Garrett, FACHE, CEO of Hackensack Meridian Health. “Ope’s deep marketing experience will advance our efforts to reach even more patients with our high-quality, compassionate care. We look forward to working with her as we continue to build healthier communities here in New Jersey and beyond.”

Oluwole will advance Hackensack Meridian Health’s brand and drive meaningful engagement with our consumers and stakeholders. She will lead innovative strategies to build the network’s brand, which will increase awareness, improve reputation, increase fundraising revenue, and enhance relevance among target audiences.

Oluwole spent 15 years at American Express, where her responsibilities ranged from leading marketing for their Gold and Green charge cards to global deployment of Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. In 2016, She joined Teladoc Health, post-IPO, as VP of Member Engagement, and she was promoted to SVP of Consumer Marketing, overseeing a team of 90+ professionals. In her eight years at Teladoc Health, Opeyemi led transformative growth, with revenue scaling from $150 million to $2.6 billion in 2023.
