In addition, under Tafuri’s leadership, the network has been recognized for Environmental Excellence over the years by Practice Greenhealth.
Beyond sustainability, Tafuri led the strategy to secure Hackensack Meridian Health’s National Cancer Institute redesignation as a research consortium partner with Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, exponentially expanding cancer research funding and positioning the network at the forefront of cancer care and innovation. He’s also been a key leader in strategic oversight of Hackensack Meridian Health’s 340B program, ensuring the network maximizes its ability to provide affordable medications and expand access to care for underserved communities.
