During your child's hospital stay at Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health, our Pediatric Hospital Medicine team steps in to become their primary doctor. We manage their daily care, coordinate with specialists, and serve as your main point of contact from admission through discharge.

Our team cares for children in our general pediatric units and healthy newborns in the nursery, providing a consistent, familiar presence for families across New Jersey. In addition to taking care of your child, we oversee all the educational activities of pediatric residents and students rotating through Pediatrics.
