We ensure your child’s care is delivered in a way that is easy to understand, while reducing their anxiety. We follow the guiding principle of ALARA for radiation safety. ALARA stands for “as low as reasonably achievable”.

These offer a calming distraction from potentially painful or uncomfortable procedures, help relieve fear and create a more positive experience.
Procedural Sedation
Some tests or procedures may require a child to remain still for an extended period of time to obtain an accurate diagnosis. Sedation may help your child relax, for either quick tests or extensive procedures.
