Trauma Center Services
- Air medical services: Helipad and emergency medical transportation helicopter, AirMed One, for lifesaving air medical services throughout the NY/NJ area
- Dedicated trauma team: 24-hour immediate coverage by a trauma team, plus specialists in cardiac surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, radiology and critical care
- Specialty care for kids: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 24-hour physician coverage and seamless connection to Hackensack Meridian Children’s Hospital teams of pediatric specialists. Learn more about pediatric trauma care

Trauma Prevention Programs
We believe trauma care starts with prevention. Our trauma prevention teams at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center research injury trends and develop education programs to help keep our communities safe.Car Seat Safety Fittings
A partnership between Jersey Shore University Medical Center Regional Trauma Center and the New Jersey State Police provides a free Car Seat Fitting Station the first Tuesday of every month, 3 to 7 p.m., along the medical center’s Davis Ave. entrance, off of Route 33, in Neptune City, NJ.
Child passenger safety technicians will ensure that visitors’ car seats are appropriate for parents and caregivers’ children and assist with proper installation in vehicles. No appointment necessary.
