About Us

John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, a leading and premier cancer program in NJ, offers one of the most sophisticated platform for cancer care in the region, from the largest robotic surgery program in the state, expert pathologists including molecular profiling by next generation sequencing on site, the full panel of radiation technology modalities, and most importantly, highly subspecialized medical oncology care – with 16 divisions across our cancer center. The cancer program also features an extensive clinical research trials operation including a Phase I Unit that offers first-in-human studies, and an outcome division to integrate data analytics in cancer care.

Recent Developments

Hackensack Meridian John Theurer Cancer Center Researchers Presented Pivotal Investigations at the Annual American Society of Hematology Meeting. Physicians and researchers from Hackensack Meridian John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC) presented the latest data from their investigations assessing new diagnostic and treatment approaches for hematologic malignancies at the 64th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Hematology. The presentations address new therapies for lymphoma, leukemia, and multiple myeloma, as well as approaches to improving the effectiveness of treatments such as CAR T-cell therapy and bone marrow transplantation and novel diagnostics that use next-generation sequencing. Click here to read the research highlights.
