Clinical Rotations (Years 1 and 2)

The first two years of fellowship training focus on a comprehensive range of clinical rotations, both inpatient and outpatient, including:

• Leukemia
• Lymphoma
• Plasma Cell Dyscrasias
• Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy
• Gastrointestinal and Thoracic Oncology
• Breast, Gynecologic, Genitourinary and Head and Neck Oncology
• Melanoma, Sarcoma, and Neurologic Oncology
• Phase I Therapeutics
• Palliative Care
• Benign Hematology Consultation
• Hematopathology
• Laboratory Medicine: Including Coagulation, Transfusion Medicine, Cell Therapy 

Scholarly Activity (Year 3)

In the third year, the fellows primarily engage in mentored scholarly activities. These may encompass projects in clinical research, health services research, translational or laboratory-based research, community engagement and outreach, medical education, or other initiatives tailored to the individual fellow’s career objectives. 

Continuity Clinic

Throughout their training, fellows will participate in mentored continuity clinics lasting 6–12 months, one day a week. 

Three-Year Curricula

Additionally, fellows will take part in longitudinal curricula in social determinants of health and communication in cancer care. They will also attend an annual medical writing workshop series.

Conferences

A full schedule of weekly conferences, didactic lectures, and tumor boards rounds out the fellows’ educational activities.
