Meet Our Residents

Current PGY1 Residents

Jeffri ChristopherJeffri Christopher
Pharmacy School: Chicago College of Pharmacy at Midwestern University

Jeffri is originally from Monroe, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Chicago College of Pharmacy at Midwestern University in 2023. Her clinical practice interests include infectious disease, oncology, and organ transplant. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue further training in a clinical specialty. Long term, she hopes to practice as a clinical pharmacist while balancing opportunities to teach, engage in research, and precept pharmacy students. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and trying different cuisines.

Carolina FanCaroline Fan
Pharmacy School: Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University

Caroline is originally from Bridgewater, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2024. Her clinical practice interests include adult and pediatric oncology. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 residency in oncology. Long term, she hopes to practice as a clinical specialist and precept pharmacy students. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling, and going to concerts.

Brianna HandalBrianna Handal
Pharmacy School: Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at Saint Joseph’s University

Brianna is originally from Totowa, New Jersey. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at Saint Joseph’s University in 2024. Her clinical practice interests include infectious diseases, internal medicine, and ambulatory care. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, she hopes to practice in a clinical setting that allows her to make meaningful impacts on patient care and build strong relationships with her patients. Long term, she hopes to practice as a clinical specialist while also precepting pharmacy students and residents. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys traveling, adventurous activities, watching The Bachelor Franchise, as well as spending time with her family.

Justin SantosJustin Santos, PharmD
Pharmacy School: Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University

Justin is originally from Queens, New York. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University in 2024. His clinical practice interests include Internal Medicine, Ambulatory Care, and Solid Organ Transplant. Upon completion of his PGY1 residency, he hopes to practice in a clinical setting that will allow him to further optimize patient medications and improve overall outcomes. Outside of pharmacy, some of Justin’s interests include sports, video games, and animals.
