Kelly G. Ussery-Kronhaus, M.D., FAAFP

Dr. Ussery-Kronhaus currently serves as Program Director for The Family Medicine Residency at Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean University Medical Center, Vice Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall, Assistant Clinical Professor at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. Outside of teaching and practice Dr. Ussery-Kronhaus devotes herself to the history and future of Family Medicine. She is on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians and is the Association of Family Medicine Program Directors Liaison to the board of the Center for the History of Family Medicine. Dr. Kelly G. Ussery-Kronhaus received her Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in 2002. Board Certified in family Medicine in 2005 by The American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Ussery-Kronhaus completed her residency in Family Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken, NJ. While in residency, Dr. Ussery-Kronhaus served as Chief Resident and distinguished herself as a champion for medical education, and she was the 2005 New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians resident of the year. Dr. Ussery-Kronhaus brings that passion for education to her patients by devoting herself to their understanding of the diseases and health conditions that they face. She is a member and Fellow of The American Academy of Family Physicians.

Christopher Bader, D.O.

Dr. Bader received his BS in 2001 from St. Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ. He earned his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. Dr. Bader completed his Family Medicine Residency at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. and served as the chief resident during his third year. His special interests include inpatient medicine and osteopathic manipulation. During his free time, Dr. Bader enjoys spending time with his family and running.

Michael Cascarina, M.D.
Medical Director of Our Family Practice
Curricular Interests: Office Procedures

Michael Cascarina MD graduated with a biology major and philosophy minor from Villanova University in 1987. He earned his allopathic medical degree from The Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1991, then completed his Family Practice Residency at The Memorial Hospital of Burlington County (Now Virtua Memorial Hospital) in 1994. Dr Cascarina and his wife Dr Laura Tesoriero are co-owners of Family Practice in Brick NJ where they have practiced medicine together since 2000. He is the current president of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians. Academically he serves as core faculty for the Ocean University Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program, and is a member of the Family Practice Department for the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine. Over the years Dr Cascarina has taught generations of medical students and residents at various medical schools, medical residencies and office practices. Medical education is truly his passion.

Scott Druckman. D.O.
Medical Director, Jackson Family Medicine
Curricular Interests: Osteopathic Principles

Dr. Druckman is a Family Medicine doctor in Jackson, NJ. He is affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean University Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Lisa Kassenoff, D.O.
Medical Director, Forked River Primary Care
Curricular Interests: Women’s Health

Dr. Kassenoff graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 1998 from Muhlenberg College. She earned her medical degree in 2002 from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Mercy Suburban Medical Center in East Norriton, PA. in 2005. She has been board-certified and in practice in New Jersey since 2005. She is core faculty for Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean University Medical Center in Forked River, NJ and also Clinical Assistant Professor at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is part of the International Primary Care Education Alliance and has traveled to China twice to educate Chinese physicians in primary care. Dr. Kassenoff embraces medical education with care and compassion and looks forward to educating the next generation of family physicians.

Kenneth E. Kronhaus, M.D., FAAFP

Dr. Kronhaus received his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine 2002. Board Certified in Family Medicine in 2006 by The American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Kronhaus completed his residency in Family Medicine at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. While in residency, Dr. Kronhaus was recognized as a leader in medical education and in 2006 was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year by The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. He currently serves as the Medical Director/Site Director for the Family Medicine Residency Ocean medical center, Core Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian Health Seton Hall School of Medicine Department of Family Medicine and is Clinical Assistant professor at Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kronhaus is dedicated to caring and compassionate medical care with a distinct focus on patient education. He has a special interest in Functional and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Kronhaus is a member and Fellow of The American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of The Institute for Functional Medicine.

Jillian Weinfeld, M.D.
Director of Curriculum and Research
Curricular Interests: Research, Medical Education, and Women’s Health.

Dr. Weinfeld graduated with a BS from New York University in 2012. During her undergraduate career, she became involved in clinical research at NYU Langone Medical Center and Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland School of Medicine in Brisbane, Australia where she found her passion for primary care. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Weinfeld returned to her home state to complete her residency in Family Medicine at Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center. During residency, Dr. Weinfeld served as Chief Resident and discovered her enthusiasm for academic medicine. She worked with the residents to develop a STEM collaboration with the local Brick High Schools and has an interest in QI (Quality Improvement) research. Dr. Weinfeld is excited to continue to work with residents and medical students as a member of the faculty.
