Drinking and Drugging while Driving is a Choice, not an Accident

On Friday, February 22, Bradley Pulver, M.D., director of emergency medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center addressed over 300 local high school students about the dangers of drinking, drugging and driving at the Ocean County Health Department’s “3-D Drinking, Driving and Drugging, Always A Choice Never An Accident” event. The annual event took at Center Court of the Ocean County Mall where elected officials, educators, law enforcement professionals counselors, prevention specialists and members of our military gathered to raise awareness of the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Team Members of Ocean Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center and Community Outreach were on hand to talk with students and distribute educational materials.
