LeGrand Speaks out against Bullying

Eric LeGrand, the former Rutgers football player who suffered a paralyzing spinal cord injury on the field in 2010, was the keynote speaker at the 3Rs Day (Respect, Reflect and Remember) at Fieldstone Middle School in Montvale. Eric told the audience of more than 400 students and faculty members about his upbringing in Central New Jersey, his youth spent playing several sports and his stays at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was rushed for treatment after his life-changing injury.  Eric speaks to young people and advocates for others with spinal cord injuries.
