The Ann May Center for Nursing
The Ann May Nursing Center for the Advancement of Professional Nursing Practice was established in 1997 to support the evolving needs of nurses in a rapidly changing health care environment. Taking its name from the former Ann May School of Nursing, the Center for Nursing offers resources for educational enrichment, financial support, and research initiatives. The center holds an annual poster presentation, manages a Center for Simulation, and runs a Specialty Scholar program that mentors nurses in research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.Hackensack University Medical Center Institute for Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research
The Institute offers Hackensack University Medical Center nurses mentorship and support for research and evidence based practice improvement. It hosts an online Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Training Program, and manages multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary committees, task forces, work groups, and memberships in consortiums/collaboratives. The institute also coordinates the Nursing Research and Innovations Council, and Clinical Grand Rounds.
Partner With Us
The Institute for Quality Science is eager to partner with Team Members across Hackensack Meridian Health to conduct rigorous quality improvement projects and to help disseminate findings within Hackensack Meridian Health and nationwide. Partnering with us, Team Members will have access to:
- Research In Progress meetings that may help in formulating research questions and design the project
- Data acquisition, analysis, and statistical support
- Help in creating posters, submitting abstracts, and publishing findings in peer reviewed journals
- Assist in applying for project funding
