Addiction Self-Help Support in New Jersey

Self-Help, Support, and Wellness

Self-help with ongoing support is integral and necessary to make a full recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, which is why we also have specialists from both Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), NJ,  on-site daily to give our patients the reinforcement they need for relapse prevention.

The Road to Long-Term Addiction Recovery

AA and NA state that by making 90 meetings in 90 days, you are on the road to long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Meetings and support groups enable patients to relate to others with similar struggles, tell their stories in a supportive environment, and get useful strategies that focus on continued self-help – so they can move on in everyday life knowing they are not alone.

In addition to these meetings and support groups, we encourage our patients to focus on getting healthier through gentle exercise that helps heal the mind and the body. This physical reconditioning emphasizes breathing exercises, meditation, and spending time outdoors along the tranquil walking path on our beautiful grounds.
