Neuromodulation Services

Many patients with psychiatric disorders do not adequately respond to “traditional” treatment options, including psychotherapy and medication. Neuromodulation is an alternative treatment option.

What is Neuromodulation?

Neuromodulation is an innovative approach to treating mental health conditions by using targeted stimulation to help regulate the activity of specific areas of the brain. These treatments are designed to influence the neural networks involved in mood, thinking and emotional regulation, helping the brain function more effectively.

For individuals whose symptoms have not improved with medication, psychotherapy or other traditional treatments, neuromodulation may provide another evidence-based option. It is most commonly used to treat conditions such as depression and certain other behavioral health conditions.

Many neuromodulation therapies are non-invasive, meaning they do not require surgery or implanted devices. Treatments are performed in an outpatient setting, allowing patients to return to their normal daily activities shortly after each session.
