Leadership Message & Year in Review
It is our sincere pleasure to share with you the electronic 2022 annual report for Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health.
Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health strives to provide the most comprehensive and highest quality care to young patients in the state of New Jersey. The children’s network is comprised of two children’s hospitals – Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune – and a large network of pediatric subspecialists and pediatricians.
We are proud that both Children’s Hospitals ranked as #1 in New Jersey in the 2022 Best Children’s Hospital Report. Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health hospitals are the only two in New Jersey to be ranked among the top 50 in the nation for pediatric nephrology by U.S. News & World Report and in the top 20 in the mid-Atlantic Region.
This year, our teams accomplished a great deal - from discovering a new and unique form of juvenile Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), to opening a state-of-the-art pediatric neuro-oncology laboratory, to joining important research consortiums which provides our patients more access to international treatment studies. We continue to expand our network’s impact through our clinical and academic accomplishments this year.
