MySuccess is HMH’s learning management system and Annual Performance Evaluations and Goals platform.

HMH has site specific and network professional committees for team members to participate in and to share subject matter expertise while learning and growing their skills. These committees offer opportunities to participate in improvement projects which help co-create a safer and healthier place for our team and patients.

Pathways to RISE Leadership Development Program is open to non-managers and entry-level leaders. Nominations accepted from supervisors and above. This year-long program includes coaching, mentoring as well as a robust learning curriculum.

Pathways to GROW Leadership Development Program is open to managers and directors. Nominations accepted from vice presidents and above. Existing HMH leaders with exemplary leadership practices to create the highest impact on teams and organizational outcomes. This year-long program includes workshops focused on essential leadership skills such as coaching, trust and strategic communications.

ELDP is open vice presidents and above. Nominations are accepted from senior vice presidents and above. This is a unique opportunity to engage with exceptional clinical and non-clinical leaders from all areas of HMH.

HMH supports continuing team members' education. 

Licenses/Certifications/Degrees: Learn how to process your certification, license and degree. Guidance is provided for team members with a new/renewed certification or who have received a new license and/or degree.

In addition, HMH has partnered with Google to provide professional training designed by Google to help prepare you for a career in the high-growth field of IT, no experience or degree required. The Google Career Certificate program is an online training program that offers professional certificates in fast-growing, high-demand technology fields.

Career Development Academy - empowers individuals in their professional growth through a diverse range of courses, workshops, and skill-building modules. With a focus on continuous learning and development, the academy equips individuals with the necessary skills and insights to navigate their career journeys.

Bright Horizons -  Advance your degrees, skills, and careers through a variety of programs that fit your goals, budgets and schedules. Through HMH’s partnership with Bright Horizons EdAssist, Hackensack Meridian Health provides team members the opportunity to receive expert educational guidance, resources and support through the customer support center, and have access to a network of schools that offer additional savings.

MySuccess - LinkedIn Learning

Team Hackensack Meridian University (Team HMU) supports the learning and development of team members, leaders and physicians throughout the network. Team HMU offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on delivering a true learning experience that supports Hackensack Meridian Health’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities. As HMH’s internal network university, Team HMU is supported by qualified internal instructors, as well as external training partners.

Through MySuccess, HMH’s learning management system, team members can access LinkedIn Learning which offers multiple learning opportunities to grow your career!

Mentoring is a powerful career development strategy that can offer benefits to the mentee, the mentor, and the network. The benefits of mentoring relationships are deep and mutually beneficial, including learning! Mentorship provides the incredible opportunity to inspire others to do their best work, deeply live their strengths and feel fully engaged in their work.

Keep Getting Better with HMH Team Member Resource Groups. There are many opportunities for mentorship within our TMRG’s.

TMRG’s, are one of the objectives of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategic plan for the network. They are voluntary groups that are organized around particular shared interests or diversity dimensions.

High Five is HMH’s team member recognition platform! In High Five, you can send a thoughtful message through a creative award of your choice or recognize a fellow team member for an extraordinary moment by sending them an award.

StandOut, is an exciting tool designed to strengthen you and your team. StandOut is based on the groundbreaking research of Marcus Buckingham, one of the world’s leading experts on engagement and performance. Its purpose is to offer all team members the chance to discover and leverage their strengths at work.

Together, we are creating a workplace culture and experience that makes team members fall in love, stay in love, and share their love for HMH with everyone they know!

In an effort to involve team members in our Culture and Wellbeing initiatives, we created our Culture and Wellbeing Circles led by Culture and Wellbeing Champions from across our vast network.

Join your local Culture and Wellbeing Circle to help us cultivate engagement with our shared culture by igniting excitement for Culture and Wellbeing events and initiatives!

HMH Connections ensures that new team members have the tools needed to thrive at HMH. The Network-based content of the HMH Connections new Team Member experience is all virtual and can be broken down into two main sections:

A 90-minute virtual orientation and welcome session offered every Monday at 10 a.m., which is required for all new team members to attend on their first Monday.

HMH Connection Cafes, virtual deeper dives on specific areas important to new team members which may address questions you have as you begin your journey at HMH. Connection Cafes are not required, but can be very useful.

Keep Getting Better with HMH Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs)

TMRGs, are one of the objectives of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategic plan for the network. They are voluntary groups that are organized around particular shared interests or diversity dimensions. These groups have been initiated by team members to:

  • create an open forum to share innovative ideas
  • help accomplish business goals
  • build professional development
  • provide networking opportunities
  • enhance engagement
  • strengthen the linkage within communities
  • Membership is open to all full-time and part-time team members. All are welcome to participate
 

In addition to the traditional chapels in the hospitals, each campus has designated special renewal spaces that can be used for meditation, self-care, prayer, reflection, or just a calm place to retreat to for a break.
