The Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine prioritizes enhancing health care value, rectifying health inequities and fostering critical thinking. Through a novel approach to education, we cultivate advocates for community change while bridging the nationwide doctor shortage and nurturing lifelong learners. Our foundation is also helping alleviate the shortage of nurses with scholarships, supporting second career and accelerated degree programs and providing resources for career advancement.

How We Made the Difference for Nick

Medical School was always in his future. When Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine opened its doors in his hometown, Nick knew it was meant to be. What’s more, with its revolutionary education program, he was able to care for patients in need much sooner than he would have been able to at any other program, while gaining a better understanding of the many factors that impact health. Nick may have only needed to travel down the road for medical school, but he will travel far in life thanks to a new approach to physician training.
