Through Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation’s Be the Difference Campaign to innovate health care, we’re addressing issues like food housing and transportation that affect the health and wellness of New Jersey’s communities.

How We Made the Difference for Olivette

Olivette was living her dream. She had a great job, owned a beautiful home and was enjoying her life to its fullest. But, an unexpected one-two punch caused her to lose it all. Just when she felt all hope was lost, suddenly a light shone through in the form of a community health worker from Hackensack University Medical Center who helped Olivette regain her footing and her outlook on life. It’s not the dream life she had for herself, but it’s one that’s filled with gratitude.
