Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center
Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, stands out as the Jersey Shore’s premier not-for-profit health care facility. Hackensack Meridian Health has consistently been rated among the top performing health systems in New Jersey for clinical quality.
Jersey Shore University Medical Center is located just a few minutes from the Atlantic coast with its beautiful beaches, and is neighboring Asbury Park, the home of The Stone Pony lounge, where both Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi launched their careers. The surrounding Monmouth County has a population of some 620,000 inhabitants, of whom about 120,000 are above age 65. In the coming decades, the size of the senior population is expected to rapidly grow in our area, and across the nation generating a mostly unmet demand for specialists trained in geriatric psychiatry.
Our Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship training program is ACGME accredited for 2 positions each year. It is supported by a large number of specialized clinical services, and highly experienced clinicians within the Hackensack Meridian Health care network.
We are now accepting J-1 Visas!
International or Foreign Medical Graduates must either possess U.S. citizenship, have permanent residency, or must be eligible and seek ECFMG sponsorship as a J1 Exchange Visitor. We do not sponsor H1B visas.
