Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital Welcomes New Neurologist

Dr. Rubenstein brings passion for pediatric neurology

Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health welcomes Sara Rubenstein, M.D., to the pediatric neurology staff at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Rubenstein’s clinical interests include general pediatric neurology, neurodevelopmental disorders, and neurogenetics. She treats all pediatric neurological conditions including seizures, headaches, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and genetic and metabolic disorders. Dr. Rubenstein has published several articles in Pediatric and Developmental Pathology, EMJ Neurology, and Stroke and Vascular Neurology.

“My passion is to provide high quality care to children and their families while building long-term relationships,” said Dr. Rubenstein. “Neurological conditions in children are often complex and require a multidisciplinary approach. Our entire team is dedicated to our patients and their families, their treatment, and supporting them throughout their journey.”

Dr. Rubenstein is board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology. A graduate of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, she completed a residency in Pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and a fellowship in Child Neurology there also.
