Welcome to our surgical faculty practice which includes physicians with expertise in treating and performing surgery for patients with endocrine, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, stomach, liver, and gastrointestinal cancers and diseases.

John F. Gibbs, M.D., FACS, is the chairman of Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center and is a nationally renowned expert specializing in stomach cancer, liver and pancreas tumors, complex gastrointestinal disease, and melanomas and sarcomas. Ronald Matteotti, M.D., FMH, ABIHM, is a surgical oncologist with expertise in minimally invasive surgical oncology and hepatobiliary surgery. Alexander Shifrin, M.D., FACS, is an expert in minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands.
