Jersey Shore University Medical Center is one of only 2 locations in New Jersey to offer focused ultrasound (FUS), a minimally invasive treatment for patients with essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease tremor that has not responded to medications.

Jersey Shore University Medical Center will be the only medical center in the northeast to offer ZAP-X®, a radiosurgery, with Synaptive MRI technology. This revolutionary technology treats brain tumors, facial pain and Arteriovenous Malformations or AVMs (irregular connections between arteries and veins) within days and requires no incision and no anesthesia.

At the Center for Advanced Skull Base Surgery, adult and pediatric neurosurgeons now have the expertise and technology to approach the cranial base endoscopically, which is less invasive than conventional open brain surgery.
