Common injuries
Having a bone fracture set properly by an orthopedist with pediatric experience can help ensure proper alignment and normal bone growth. Our team commonly treats wrist, forearm, elbow, ankle, leg, and hip fractures in children and adolescents.
In growing children who need surgery to repair a fracture, we perform the operation without disturbing the growth plates so that normal bone growth is not interrupted.
Treatments
We tailor orthopedic care to your child’s specific needs. Not all children with orthopedic conditions or injuries need surgery. For children who require surgery, our dedicated pediatric orthopedic surgeons specialize in correction and maximizing function.
Special attention is provided to injuries in or around the growth plates, to minimize complications, limb-length discrepancies and deformities. We provide care based on the latest advances to achieve the best comfort and function possible – all while making your child feel at ease.
