Travel Medicine
TravelKids prepares your child for an international trip, across the ocean or around the world.
Thousands of travelers become ill each year. Many of them are children. Common diseases like malaria, typhoid fever and hepatitis can be prevented with proper planning.
TravelKids is the only travel medicine program in New Jersey focused on children.
Travel health issues and risks are different for children. Some medicines, doses and vaccines recommended for adults may not be appropriate for children or teenagers.
A visit to TravelKids includes a plan to meet your child’s individual needs and travel destination.
