Nursing Schools

The undergraduate nursing program at Georgian Court University celebrated its 10-year partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health in 2019. Since its inception, the Georgian Court–Hackensack Meridian Health School of Nursing has graduated more than 400 students and has provided an exceptional hands-on education that equips students for nursing careers. In November 2017, the program launched the RN to B.S.N. program, which makes earning a B.S.N.—the gold standard of the profession—more accessible for working nurses. The first class of RN to B.S.N students graduated in May 2020. In January 2021, the program will launch a 14-month accelerated nursing program (B.S. to B.S.N.) that prepares professionals for a transition to nursing. Learn more

The Middlesex County College Associate in Science Nursing Program is offered in partnership with Raritan Bay Medical Center (RBMC), which also serves as the primary clinical site for the program. The standard duration of this Associate Degree program is four semesters (two years). The courses students take may be applied to the BSN Degree. Final decisions regarding transfer courses will be made by the receiving college. Middlesex County College has agreements with Felician College and Kean University that makes the transfer process as seamless as possible for students. The articulation between the colleges provides students the opportunity to complete their BSN on Middlesex County College’s campus. The Nursing Degree prepares students for entry level positions in nursing and for taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). It has been approved by the New Jersey Council of Presidents and accredited by the New Jersey of Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
